Around Cardiff With A Coconut

Time Elapsed: 80 minutes

The most recognisable of all the sites we visited, the next location was the multicoloured Millennium Stadium. A quick 20-minute dash across the suburbs and outer city took us to the first city centre landmark.

"Stadium: £165,000,000 - Coconut: 39 pence"

Out of view and over the railing is the slightly murky River Taff. It's been followed all the way down from Castell Coch, although there's too much of it to class as a landmark.

"If you look at that without perspective, the coconut is huge."

Unfortunately, being armed with a small collection of loose change, we couldn't raise enough funds to take the coconut on a guided tour inside. We settled for a brief spell standing outside and continued.

Perhaps we might take it to see some of its ancestors at the National Museum.
