Around Cardiff With A Coconut

We didn't rush making our way down the Garth, hence it took us 35 minutes to travel to just the other side of the valley, to Castell Coch. It's a strange place, not a true castle but rather a holiday home for the Marquess of Bute - who inhabited Cardiff Castle at the time. Set on top of a vertical cliff face in the middle of a heavily wooded area, it's quite a beautiful spot.

Of course, a beautiful tourist attraction is the ideal place to take a coconut that wants to experience Cardiff to the full. The car park is a bit of a nightmare, but we managed to retrieve our end product:

"Let's perplex the tourists"

Being a Sunday, there were plenty of tourists about. More suprising was that the majority of tourists were Italian and from other southern european countries, I never knew it was such a crowd-puller. Either that or the almighty power of the coconut lured them to the area.

Having exhausted our supply of high-altitude landmarks, we went down onto the flat coastal plains of the centre of Cardiff. And what better landmark than the Millennium Stadium?

But go on, it'd be fun to see it happen elsewhere.
