The Garth is the
one big hill/mountain nearby (there is a film based on this borderline issue).
At 1000 feet, it's also just tall enough to ensure the chronically unfit feel the pain of trying
to climb it. As both of us fall into this category, we certainly benefited from the exercise.![]() "Pulse rate of about three million" After rolling about in sheep dung atop a burial mound, trying to regain our breath, we set about documenting the momentous occasion in photographs. ![]() "The only photo I'm in, and it's gone cloudy" Of course, being on top of the Garth wasn't enough. Oh no, we wanted to ensure we broke records that day. I can officially state that this is the highest coconut in Cardiff. ![]() "It flies, too" You can see the whole of Cardiff from the top of the Garth. The image isn't large enough to pick out a lot of detail, but the Millennium Stadium is circled below. ![]() "We'll be visiting here shortly" We may have put in some effort, but time was not on our side and we had to press on - next, Castell Coch. | |
